Privacy Policy
How TheComputech handles your information — in plain language. Our tools run in your browser, so your data stays on your device.
Last updated: 19 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TheComputech (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit thecomputech.co.in (the “Site”) and use the free online tools we provide. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.
1. Who we are
TheComputech is a free web-tools hub offering calculators, converters, developer utilities, SEO helpers, and image tools. For any privacy-related questions or requests, you can contact us at indikbal@gmail.com.
2. The data our tools process stays on your device
Almost every tool on TheComputech runs entirely in your web browser. The text, numbers, files, and images you enter into a tool are processed locally on your own device and are not uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted to our servers. We never see the content you convert, calculate, format, or edit. When you close or refresh the page, that data is gone unless you have saved it yourself.
A few tools may store small preferences or recent history in your browser’s localStorage to improve your experience. This information remains on your device and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
3. Information we collect
a) Information you provide voluntarily. If you contact us by email or through a contact form, we receive the details you choose to share (such as your name, email address, and message) so that we can respond.
b) Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics/advertising partners may automatically collect standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to keep the Site secure, understand usage, and serve relevant content.
c) Cookies and similar technologies. We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies as described below.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We use them to remember preferences, measure traffic, and (through Google) display and manage advertising and reader-revenue features. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.
5. Advertising — Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the Site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our Site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads).
- You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- For more information on how Google uses data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
6. Google Reader Revenue Manager
We use Google Reader Revenue Manager (RRM) to offer features such as contributions, subscriptions, or newsletter sign-ups. When you interact with these features, Google may collect and process information (for example, your email address and payment or contribution details) to deliver the service on our behalf. This processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. We receive only limited information necessary to manage your relationship with us.
7. Analytics — Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect aggregated, mostly anonymised usage data such as page views, session duration, approximate location, and device information. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
8. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
- To understand and analyse how the Site is used and to improve our tools and content.
- To display and measure advertising and reader-revenue features.
- To respond to your enquiries and requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against misuse or fraud.
9. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site (such as hosting, analytics, and advertising partners like Google), and only as needed for them to provide their services, or where required by law.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws such as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and the GDPR (EU/EEA), including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Visitors in the EU/EEA, UK, and similar regions will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, where required. To exercise any right, email us at indikbal@gmail.com.
11. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
Our Site may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
13. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited information we handle. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
