This free online tool lets you rotate by 90° left or right, flip horizontally or vertically, and fine-tune the angle with a slider — all with a live preview. Download the result as a full-resolution PNG, JPG or WebP. It’s completely free and private: your photo is processed right in your browser and never uploaded anywhere.
How to use

- Tap Rotate left or Rotate right to turn it in 90° steps.
- Use Flip horizontal or Flip vertical to mirror the picture.
- Drag the fine rotation slider for any angle between −180° and +180°.
- Pick a format and click Download image to save the corrected photo.
When you need to rotate or flip an image
Photos taken on a phone are often stored with an EXIF “orientation” tag instead of the pixels being physically rotated. That works on your phone, but when the image is opened somewhere that ignores the tag, it suddenly appears sideways or upside down. Rotating the image here bakes the correct orientation into the pixels themselves, so it looks right everywhere — in documents, on websites and in email.
Flipping is just as handy. Front-facing cameras usually mirror selfies, which reverses any text in the shot; a horizontal flip puts it back to normal. Designers also flip images to face a subject the other way, and a vertical flip is perfect for reflections. Because the canvas is resized to the rotated bounding box, even an arbitrary angle keeps all four corners intact instead of cropping them, and the export stays at the original full resolution.
